My Impression of the Series "Chewing Gum": A Tangle of Plotlines and Teen Cruelty

From the very opening scenes of "Chewing Gum," it's crystal clear that this is not merely another run-of-the-mill teen drama. Instead, it attempts a daring feat, cramming a richly packed narrative into a tight timeframe. Yet, while the underlying issues presented seem significant, the execution often leaves much to be desired.

The Maze of Storylines and Time Constraints

One of the standout characteristics of "Chewing Gum" is its complex tapestry of intertwined storylines. It's a melting pot of adolescent dilemmas, featuring an array of characters facing a variety of challenges:
